ABOUT ME

We are very warm, considerate people who genuinely care about others. We have a lot of energy (thanks to Whitney's coffee addiction) and love being active and engaged in the world around us. We are both life long learners and really appreciate other cultures, ideas, and new knowledge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Dave has surfed in the past, but Whitney is totally new at couch surfing! We are moving to a new apartment soon and hope to host in the near future.

We enjoy outdoors activities like hiking, rock climbing, and although Dave is an avid biker, Whitney is slowly learning to bike on the scary streets of DC. Cooking is very relaxing for us, and we regularly visit farmers' markets and local business for ingredients. We have a great appreciation for beer and love learning about new styles and microbreweries. Spending time with friends and family playing basketball, playing games, dancing, etc. puts a smile on Whitney's face. Dave is very adventurous and has done many backpacking trips around the world.

We both love movies that make us think. We don't really watch tv, although Whitney is currently on a netflix Grey's Anatomy kick

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of our favorite joint memories was a 2-3 week backpacking trip to Glacier National Park, the Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone. We saw amazing wildlife and beautiful sunsets, and we met some really crazy people. Some were doing the Continental Divide trail, some were biking across the U.S., and some were chasing black bears with their cameras.

Whitney can teach you how to make the best out of absolutely any situation.
