About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to travel the world one couch at a time and help others do the same
ABOUT ME
My friends would describe me as interesting, funny and always up for adventure. I like to stay active and spend a lot of time hiking with my German Shepherd. I've been skiing and snowboarding all my life and try to make it out to the Rockies at least once a year now that I'm close. Right now I live in Saskatchewan, but I want to move further west soon so I can live near the mountains or the ocean so I'm travelling out to Alberta and BC as much as possible to figure out where to move.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Moose Jaw isn't exactly a high traffic area so I've only had the opportunity to host a few people, but my door is usually open. For now I'll be taking lots of week-long road trips through Western Canada and down to the States and eventually when I have more time off I'd like to see the rest of the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still new at this but it's been great so far, I drove to Vancouver Island and back over Christmas and met lots of awesome people along the way.
Interests
Being active, spending lots of time outdoors, hiking with my German Shepherd, snowboarding, I like to read a lot (mostly novels), I don't watch lots of TV but there are a few shows I really like and I love eating well so I spend lots of time cooking and learning new recipes.

Music, Movies, and Books
These are just some of my favorites, I'm always trying to read, watch and listen to something new:
Catch 22, Fight Club, The Caine Mutiny, A Clockwork Orange, Things Fall Apart, War and Peace, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Grapes of Wrath
Both Kill Bill movies and Pulp Fiction, The first two Godfathers, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Clerks, Raging Bull, American Beauty, Requiem for a Dream, Super Troopers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Iron Maiden, Metallica, RHCP, Sublime, NOFX, Rancid, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, The Roots, Wu Tang (especially Ghostface, Raekwon and Method Man), Beastie Boys, lots of classic rock (CCR, Bob Dylan, Zeppelin, The Doors)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely snowboarding in the Rockies. The view is unreal and the trails are intense, especially going through trees in deep powder. So far I've been to Fernie, Jasper and Castle Mountain but I'll definitely be adding more to that list.
