About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Joy.
ABOUT ME
I'm a self proclaimed citizen of the nation of Imagi. Brazen, ballsy, belligerent. Twisted. Crass. Silly. Smutty. Saucy. Demented. In previous incarnations, I've been a Burner, a Dead/tourhead, Rainbow, gypsy, Trekkie, vagabond, prankster, groupie, nomad, cynic, hippie, eco-terrorist, enabler, artist/vendor, road warrior, wordsmith, catalyst, facilitator, adventurer, muse. I'm sometimes witty with a foul mouth. And sometimes I'm cute.

PHILOSOPHY
I hope that Death finds me laughing.
You know that expression: "When God closes a door, he opens a window."? Well, God opened my window, and burned the house down.
I have reservations in Hell. If you drop my name at the door, you'll get a great table.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Create your own visitor map!
I've always threatened to do a "couch tour". Now I can!
I've been couchsurfing since the mid-80's when I first heard the term in Venice Beach, Ca. My homes have always been open to the wayward wanderer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
What kind of pirate am I? You decide! You can also view a breakdown of results or put one of these on your own page!Brought to you by Rum and Monkey
In a parallel dimension, I toured around the U.S. following the Greatful Dead and other concert tours like Lallapalooza, HORDE Fest, and Lillith Fair. I've been a guest in many homes, vans, tour buses - squeeze me in anywhere!
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” - Mark Twain
“Tourists don’t know where they’ve been, travelers don’t know where they’re going.” - Paul Theroux
Interests
I'm into Hoop Dance and recently got a fire hoop. Whenever I run across a hackey circle, I join in. Babbling til the morning light over cocktails and good stories is a particular favorite pastime. Laughing out loud. 8-ball. Daydreaming. Mystery. Food. Flirting. Reading. Masquerade. Psychedelics. Movies. Space travel. Muppets. Puns. Music. Thrift stores. Carousing. Karaoke. Fire. Smut. Bubbles. Exploration. Art. Blinky things. Marauding. Sheep-shagging jokes. Fuzzy things. Practical Jokes. Larceny. Burlesque. Pillaging. Couch-dancing.
When I think about it and remember, I collect words for "wind" in other languages.
"The only ones for me are the mad ones-The ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved- Desirous of everything at the same time-The ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing-But burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars." -Jack Kerouac
