ABOUT ME

Hello! My names Paula and I am a young backpacker with a very polite yet fun and optimistic personality. I am very loving, with a big constant smile always on my face. I am interested in a lot of things from the understanding of concepts, to how things are built, to playing instruments and things alike. This past year living in Europe has gaven me a whole new understanding and perspective of myself. I am a very caring person, easy going, relaxed, and can see the positives of life. I enjoy sun, wine, a nice conversation. Simplicity. I tend to always help out even when said not to, and learn new things unintentionally. I am a curious individual, but am truly interested in your answer. I do not doubt myself, and have grown an appetite for knowledge and new experiences. I love getting to know new people, and exploring different countries and cultures. I have an attrocious hearty laugh, which is hightly unattractive, but im proud of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by talking and promoting the community of couchsurfing through the power of tongue. When I get back home, I would also like to host so I can give back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to couch surf in Barcelona, Nice, Paris, Rome, and Polermo. They were all amazing, and positive. I learnt new perspectives, and a local view from the life of each city. I was travelling with my best friend and we had an incredible time backpacking. Our hosts looked after us, and we felt like each were apart of our familes. I know have 5 more big brothers, and they all have a place in my heart and home back in Canada!

Music, Movies, and Books

i love Muse, and Mumford and Sons. I really enjoy music,and what really speaks to me is piano. I enjoy movies like inception and life is beautiful. i enjoy reading things that are exciting and inspiring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a kayak trip with some close friends of mine to the Gulf Islands in Canada and we kayaked to one island called Tent Island on our last journey. The sea, clouds, distant islands and sunset was at every perfect angle, I had the feeling of complete and total contentness, a perfect moment.

The next day we woke up at 5 and saw the sunrise on the ocean on our kayaks, we all stopped and enjoyed the view of the sun rising over the island infront of us and had sea otters join us from the sea below to enjoy the view.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: How to backstick, snort when laughing, how to see the positive in many situations,some latin dance moves, some canadian foods and drinks, help your english, chop wood

Learn: just open up and talk and I will soak you up like a sponge, I love listening and am very curious. cooking, special dishes, tips and tricks and a little jig

Share: a moment, laugh, smile, drink, picture, memory, clothes, my home when your in canada, hug
