Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea. I love how quickly you can become friends with somebody you are sharing your/her/his flat with.

Interests

My biggest passion is probably biking.

I also have some kind of a strange attraction to the National parks where I enjoy hiking or simply sitting and observing sunrises and sunsets.

Must say that I'm a beer fan which is why I feel a bit sad every morning. No no, it's not the hangover, it's just the beer belly.

Music, Movies, and Books

I couldn't say that I have one favourite music genre. However, I have two favourite albums which are The War on Drugs "Lost in a Dream" and Miles Davis "Kind of Blue".

Movies have been a big part of my life for some time as I have been dreaming of becoming a film critic as I was reading fascinating texts by Roger Ebert. Movies of my life so far are: "Lost in Translation", "Wings of Desire", "500 Blows".

I am a magic realism fan, no surprise I am crazy about Garcia Marquez.

Hiking in Borjomi National Park (Georgia, Caucasus) and meeting local shepherds!

Stories, a smile, cooking skills (or rather a desire to cook)!

I am the opposite of capricious, even if I'm tired I enjoy hanging out, whereas if a host feels like staying home, we can have a calm dinner.
