I'm always happy and easy going. I may be impossible to offend, however i prefer compliments.I am a student 3 days a week studying Education.I grew up in Auckland but have lived in South America, Japan, Australia and all over NZ.I love my country and its unique landscapes and activities and am happy to share my knowledge with travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically i don't travel alot at this stage in my life so i participate by offering my place for people to surf. I enjoy learning about the world from the comfort of my lazy boy. By talking to people who visit and understanding what their lives are like where they are from and seeing through their eyes for a short time.

I have great knowledge of NZ and love my country as i have seen pretty much all of it so like to share this passion and knowledge with surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am most comfortable and relaxed when people who stay with me make themselves at home in my house and treat my house as their own. That way i feel like i have temporary flat mates as opposed to guests.

I like to share food and really appreciate it when people cook a meal for me.

I prefer people to stay a night or preferably two so we have time to swap ideas. Most people stay 3.
But am happy for people to stay longer if they can do any or all of the following...
Help out with housework like the dishes or vacuuming.
Or help out with renovations like painting and sanding. Or help out with Gardening and decorating.
Or can teach me to play the guitar.

If you would like to stay longer then just ask and i will be honest if it works for me or not.

Basically Mi Casa es Su Casa. But If you break it i appreciate it if you replace it!

Interests

I enjoy almost any activity involving the ocean.

In fact i like to take people out to experience gathering seafood (Crayfish, scallops, fish and shellfish etc.) and cooking it and eating it. Because thats what we do as kiwis. And most people from overseas find this totally unique. If your willing to share costs and the weather is right maybe we can go out.

I enjoy almost any type of physical pursuit
Especially racket sports.

I perceive conversation and debate as a sport.

Can share Juggling, sailing, English, fishing, windsurfing, snorkeling, fire lighting, Home Brew Beer making, Glow worms, Weta caves, Yabbies (Fresh water crayfish), kite flying, extensive knowledge of traveling in NZ!

Can Learn languages. I enjoy communicating with people in their own language. Interested in learning as many languages as i can.

Can share a cold beer and a good yarn.
