About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel around the world with as little as possible.

ABOUT ME

Really, in order to successfully describe something, you must experience it and distance yourself from it for a little while. Doing this allows you to reflect upon the affair with said object and enables you to paint an accurate picture of it. Because I am endlessly having adventures with myself, I never have time to look at myself from a distance, thus never being able to fully articulate what I really am. I know how I feel about things, my likes, my dislikes, my wants and desires, my secrets. What I do not know are things about me, what i look like (ill be dead before i believe in mirrors or photographs), what kind of person i am (i would like to think a good person, but who knows?). I guess what it really boils down to are the questions that you ask me, and what you perceive my answers to mean to you, about me. I don't care whether you end up liking me or not, because it's not up to me for you to like me, rather the opposite i think. For those of you too nervous to ask any questions, I'll answer basic questions that I do know the answer to. I'm a male, I'm 18 years old (or 20 in korea), I'm tired and I'm hungry and I believe in I strive to spread and gain happiness in the absence of pain. My name is Patrick Hillman, Hajimemashite, Douzo yoroshiku.

PHILOSOPHY

Nichiren Buddhism;Happiness in the absence of pain, don't worry, I DO NOT talk about this often, and I WILL NOT go Jehovah's witness on you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I Plan on being a surfer as well as a hoster, as soon as I get a permanent residency with a renter that does allow subletting and enough money to go surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few Koreans spend the night at my house before, it wasn't an official CS thing, but it was really cool. They were exchange students and we actually became great friends.

Interests

I love to play the guitar and drums, I love listening to music, I LOVE learning about different cultures and interacting with them. There actually isn't much that upsets me.
