I look forward to new experiences, i.e. work, travel, artistic, sports.

PHILOSOPHY

Things seem best in minimalistic/simple living yet I understand, and often feel, the need to splurge as I reluctantly step into unfamiliar experiences. I'd like to think I respect different cultures, perspectives and am an open, accessible mortal earthling myself. Cutting down on possessions is an ongoing battle but it makes things less complicated and improves the ability to prioritize more appropriately. I'm far from sagacious and shy away from dogma. I make efforts to be aware of the details in the present, how it holds one, and how the realization of impermanence influences my span of existence. Though I often catch myself being judgmental in some form. And, falling under the spell of distraction is a daily thing. One of these days I'm going to get organizized.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am relatively new to this surfing. I look forward to the next couch surfing encounter. I have partaken in a few of the get togethers as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was impressed with how friendly the hosts were. Overall, I am relatively reticent at extending myself, and getting out of the comfort zone, but I am enthusiastic for the next visit. I have couch surfed with friends, relatives and others in the Pacific Northwest area. I have also done some surfing around the SE Asia area as well.

Interests

Cooking, bicycling, yoga. Listening to open mics. Watching the sunset/sunrise and twilight. Writing. Commuting by foot or bicycle. I'm enthused for a road bike trip to the Washington Peninsula and possibly farther south. I would like to improve guitar skills and hone my skateboarding coordination. I enjoy traveling around Cascadia, The Pacific Northwest and points beyond as well.

Survived an accidental consumption of bleach water. Made a golf shot from 150 yards +.
