About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding that perfect mix

ABOUT ME

During a holiday I love to take my tent hiking to camp at the most remote places I’ve ever seen. However I also like to travel the world, see interesting cities, a museum, or a few bars and clubs. But most importantly when traveling I prefer to experience the local culture by meeting locals and trying the local food and drinks.

During weekends I like to go to a concert, go sailing, or cycling (mostly on my road bike, occasionally mountain bike) or just have a night out with friends. I take importance to good food and music.

An old neighbor pointed me to Couch Surfing community, and it made me enthusiastic in an instant. I want to Couch Surf, because it seems such a great way to get to know the local culture, meet similar minded people, but off course it is nice that it makes traveling much cheaper.

Let me know when you like to stay over!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste of music is just like that of food and other things in life: I'm open to suprising but high quality things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a 7 day horse ride through an area near Hanas lake in China, on the border between Mongolia, Russia and Kazachstan. Since it was in spring nomads were traveling into the area guiding their herds. The area was stunningly beautiful and in combination with the nomads it made it so pure and unspoiled. Since we arranged the horses ourselves, there were just no other tourists that did travel the area, and it was completely of the beaten track.

Teach, Learn, Share

When travelling try to think of things that you like to do in that place and try to arrange it, instead of only enjoying the things other people arranged for you. If you know what I mean.
