I am Wieke, 25 years old and travelling Asia with my boyfriend Elvis. We are together for 8 years now and met on holiday in Italy. We both studied in Delft, where we had a great time living with loads of roommates (he with 18 and I with 14). We have seen quite some countries together but now it is time for the big trip to Asia!

My boyfriend and I always wanted to travel through Asia and now is the perfect time since we both just graduated. Free from responsibilities, we started our journey and planned to be away from home for 4/5 months. The adventure started in China, where we stay for 2 months after going to Vietnam. So far, we have seen Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, HK, and Zangjiajie. We look forward to more! We have never used couchsurfing before but love to meet locals so want to give it a try!

A lot of amazing things that we have done together! Some highlights: climbing in the Alpes, walking on a glacier in Norway, visiting the Chinese Great Wall, and going to Marokko. And many more amazing thinks to come :)
