Physics PhD student in Trento, doing research on quantum gases of ultracold atoms. Before I lived in Florence where I did my bachelor and master's.

I grew up in the mountains in Tuscany, and now I am living again between different mountains, in Trento.
I also lived in Germany for six months as an Erasmus student. I spent one month in Malaysia while finishing my master thesis. I went to Sweden last year where I was able to see the northern lights while hitch-hiking through Lapland. It was amazing!

I love to travel and see new places, just stopping to see the beauty not only of important monuments, but also of not-so-well-known wonderful places.
I also like to meet local people in the places I visit, and other travellers.

It seems like in every place I travel to, I leave some pieces of my heart, thinking of getting back some day in order to collect them again. But the list of places I would like to visit becomes longer and longer every time I travel...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for one month in Malaysia, where I finished to write my master thesis! I have also had the incredible experience of swimming with sea turtles!

I can tell you curious things about Florence and Italy.
I like to talk about travel experiences and learn about the countries I am visitig, listening to the interesting facts that only locals can tell. I think that such conversations are the best especially around a table with some good food and drinks :)

We can also have interesting conversations about physics and science in general :)
