Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Scratch my toe, it's really itchy.
ABOUT ME
I can be calm, relaxed, reserved or I can be active and chit-chatty claiming all the attention, put me on a dance floor and I go wild. I like exploring and doing new things. Also the cinema and the theater are places I love to go.
Finished my Bachelor of Neuroscience last year and then moved to Belgium to follow my dream and study Contemporary dance at the conservatory. It's awesome.
PHILOSOPHY
Simplify and intensify.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Still finding my place here in Antwerp, not managed to host someone.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted a few people, surfed once. Nothing transcendental, but great experiences nonetheless.
Interests
The life of a dancer is crazy, hardly have time for anything else (fortunately I love dance) But I do manage to squeeze in some time for cooking, movie watching, German learning (just finished Harry Potter in German), French learning (lots of work still to be done) and some individual philosophy study (philosophy students intimidate/fascinate me, because they make me realize all the shit I say;) ). After having just finished my bachelor, reading upon the brain has taken a little break.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While we were in Rwanda we heard all these rumors about this hot springs that were supposed to be amazing, some of them even hot enough to boil an egg. We were on a quest. Many inquiries followed, bribed some local politicians, made some offers people couldn't refuse. But we found them. Not exactly what we imagined, but we went for it, it was amazing, it was like sitting in a small pool of your own lukewarm pee, without even having had to pee. Nothing could ever have prepared us for that awesome experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
We all act from our paradigm, so adjusting a paradigm is the only way to change behavior.
Sharing life stories is one of the most wonderful ways to make a paradigm explicit and is such a valuable experience. I think it is highly undervalued in education as it is the portal to understanding and personal growth.
