A new profile but not so new to couchsurfing, I have been travelling with my partner Felicity for two years now and have stayed with hosts in Portugal, New Zealand, Australia & Indonesia...I thought it was about time I created my own and got more actively involved in the CS community!

Born and bred in Dorset, educated in Yorkshire, inebriated in Avon. In 2016 We spent three months working on a permaculture project in Pyrénées-Atlantiques and I fell in love with the idea of sustainable farming, though I'll have to come back to that some day. Later that year (after returning to the UK for a spell of work) we undertook our first cycle tour from Santander to Lisbon. Ever since then travelling by any other means just doesn't quite match up.

After working and travelling in New Zealand for 8 months in 2017, Felicity and I made our way across Indonesia before picking up bikes in Singapore at the start of 2018 and cycled to Vietnam. Since June last year we've made Toronto our home and hope to give back a little to the CS community.

Because nobody can teach you more about a place than those who live there! In the last couple of years, the richest experiences I have had on the road have been courtesy of some wonderful CS hosts.

Música, películas y libros

I try to keep my music taste as eclectic as possible, so I'm always up for discovering something new! Catch me in the right mood and I could talk all night about different artists and albums.

Movies I guess would be the likes of Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, older Tim Burton stuff. Also pretty keen on Latin American & French cinema, dark comedies, psychological thrillers.

Books tend to be non-fiction - socio-political or philosophy - but I'm pretty hot and cold when it comes to reading and it usually takes me forever to finish anything!

Can't usually go too far wrong sharing food! Usually I'll aim to cook at least one evening if staying for a few days.
