About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn, teach, and grow. I'm driven by community support, and endeavor to marinade in all it's variations - music, food, activism, history...
ABOUT ME
I'm on the move! After 7 years in New Orleans, I'm heading back to California to start grad school at UC Berkeley. I'm originally from Los Angeles and went to school in NOLA at Tulane University. I love to listen and play music (I play a lil bit of everything, but am focusing on bass right now) of all types, hiking, biking, reading, hanging out with friends, cooking, gardening... I hope to find a couch in an area with opportunities to engage in the community through volunteering and experiences that capture the essence of your city's authentic nature. Once I settle back in after my cross country move, I will begin hosting again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When living in Santiago, Chile, I used couchsurf meetups to make friends and immerse myself in the city.
I begun hosting when I was an undergrad in college. Sharing meals and walking around neighborhoods are two of the simplest delights that I embrace through couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through my work, I've visited farms, urban and rural, which have taught me to respect the sanctity of food. One of my most cherished days was spent with a man who is not only a farmer, but an international leader in the movement for family farms and land retention for black farmers. He introduced me to old sharecroppers, gave me a tour of his farmers co-op, and told me stories about growing up in the rural south.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm fairly knowledgable in bicycle mechanics, music, volunteer coordinating, and urban agriculture. I'm interested in learning about community organizing, languages, your culture's cuisine, and really anything. And i'm always down for a solid Spanish conversation.
