ABOUT ME

I have been searching for healing after a lifetime of learning to love myself and I am discovering it in a new, free lifestyle of traveling. I speak softly and may seem reserved, but in the right situation I am a very open and enthusiastic person. I am an artist and concerned and sensitive to the welfare of our earth and all that humans and animals that share this life on it.

PHILOSOPHY

I am committed to nonviolence, eat a vegan diet, and try to spread love in all situations in my life.

I am new to this community and am still finding my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a CouchSurfing experience, but am eagerly anticipating having one in the very near future!

兴趣

I am currently entranced by my recent traveling and the new perspectives it has given me. Mostly my interests have formed around finding new experiences and expressing myself creatively. Recently I have been actively photographing the new sights of the road. I love music and songwriting, playing guitar and cello and experimenting with any other instrument I can make melodies or rhythms with. I write poetry and enjoy reading, filling myself written words.
I am also interested in pursuing an active lifestyle, and have been enjoying days filled with epic hikes into forests and bike rides through fast paced urban streets. I am not in the best physical shape but each day of sunshine and exercise leaves me feeling stronger and more invigorated.

A book, a record, and a film. I have found deep inspiration in 'Dharma Bums' by Jack Kerouac, the soul searching sounds of Monsters of Folk self titled album, and my longtime favorite film 'Good Will Hunting'. Musically I am inclined toward folk music and reggae, poetically toward the stream of consciousness of the beatniks and eloquence of Pablo Neruda, and tend to search for films and documentaries that inspire a higher consciousness through knowledge and spiritual freedom through love.

Experiencing the white night in St. Petersburg, Russia at age seventeen. My last evening there I stayed up all night on a hotel balcony with a beautiful soul with almond eyes I hardly knew, smoking cigarettes and pouring out soul secrets as twilight lasted until sunrise and finally the bus took us to the airport and we went back across the earth and disappeared into distance and a hot midwest summer. We were never close again but those shared moments were infinite.

I can teach you how to make a dreamcatcher (I'm still need practice myself), give an amazing back massage (I'm considering going into massage therapy), I would love to help in caring for a garden or animals, I will share music and jam until sunrise, listen to stories and life experiences, and hopefully become your friend.
