One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
+ The quick and quiet miracle of foaling in the middle of the night (I spent several years of my childhood on a horse farm and never before or after have I felt more aware of and involved in the cycle of life and death)
+ I've driven through the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and walked around the crumbling, desolate cemetery at Wounded Knee, seeing and feeling through the greedy lens of a tourist the results of the large-scale, centuries-long colonization that everyone seems to have forgotten about.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, French, a little bit of Russian. I also know how to knit basic things like scarves and hats and bags. I have a library of about 600 books which I'd love to share.
