ABOUT ME

I love traveling and meeting new people. I love deeply and openly. I am a resident of Ohio and I am loving the lush green, natural beauty, birdsong, sun, rain, seasonal shifts, and more here. My favorite seasons here are spring, summer, and fall!

I love reading and writing poetry. Meaningful relationships and connections with people are what matter to me; not so much the things of the world. Snorkeling blue Carribean waters is one of my favorite pastimes. I also love cooking tasty, fresh, scrumptious vegetarian food. My favorite colors are blue, red, and now pink. I love basking in the sun. Natural and manmade hot springs stoke me out. I also love to drum. In fact I love drumming from every culture and region from around the world. I love watching movies and films. I love meeting new people. I love exploring nature with children. I also love to hike and stay active. Spiritual pursuits are also important to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was stationed in Korea, I decided to take a two week tour of Southeast Asia as my morale trip and I had stayed in touch with a engineer lady at my work. So she allowed me to crash in her house for three days while I explored Japan, which saved me a ton of money because hotels there were a bit cost prohibitive at the time. It was awesome, and I got to also see some beautiful outdoor parks near Tokyo, eat some local food, and visit some Buddhist shrines.

Love foreign, independent, and some mainstream films. My favorite music is world music-African, Afro-Cuban, East Indian, Middle Eastern, trance, house, alternative rock, country, hip hop, and the list goes on. Love to check out live music. Love to read books on every topic. Before my recent exploration of ancient Chaco Canyon, I read many books on the people, culture, legends, and history. A favorite book I urge you to check out is Barbara Brown Taylor's "An Altar in the World". "The Blessings of the Animals" is great.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hiking and camping on private land (secret spot) in the Gila National Forest in New Mexico. Camping next to a natural hot spring at night under a full moon. Just me and a log and a few friends. Slathering mud from a mud pit on my body the next day and letting it dry in the sun. Then returning to that natural spring to rinse it off. Incredibly smooth skin.
