Like every decent couchsurfer, I love travelling, but not just moving from point A to B. What fascinates me is discovering how people live, think, laugh, love, and solve life in their own unique way. Every country teaches me something; every person changes my perspective a little.

When I travel, I always try to choose experiences that truly connect me with the local culture. I keep my eyes open, both externally and internally, to absorb the little things that inspire me, challenge my thoughts, enrich my understanding of people, and help me see life in a different light.

I enjoy deep conversations, spontaneous adventures, long motorcycle trips, and the kind of moments that later turn into stories worth sharing over a coffee or any of your traditional beverages.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on Couchsurfing for a long time now. It is fair to say it has changed my life. I meet people when I travel and it always makes my trip better. I meet people and showing them my own view makes me glad to help and also gives me a better appreciation and a different view of my own city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Incredible. It is not so easy to explain here.Becuase You have to live and feel those sensations. You can be sure that you will learn different things from different people. So, I like that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I once did a 30-day motorcycle trip across Europe — from Portugal all the way up to Northern Europe, then down to Italy, where I took a ferry from Brindisi to Patras… and finally rode back home to Turkey. It was full of adventure, a bit of chaos, lots of unexpected moments, and stories that sound even better with a coffee or a beer.

Back in 2013, I rode my motorcycle from the Netherlands to St. Petersburg in –10°C.
