ABOUT ME

Angela and Hansjoerg - we are a couple since 1978 . Hansjoerg is a mechanic, technique in a plastic factory .I am a nurse and help old people with dementia every day in a special house -like day care. Both we are interested in travelling , reading ,bicycling , hearing to music oldies and classic, nature and talking with friends. Hansjoerg likes fixing all things and is the better housekeeper but no cook. His favourite country is Alaska in wintertime. Angela likes singing and cabarett and many experiments in the kitchen. We love our 2 children , but they moved away to be a teacher and a policeofficer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, giving you a bicycle to investigate the Sauerland with the little mountains und clear lakes . We like to hear from adventures from other people, eat und drink together but you have also the chance to do all allone, if you want.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing was great in Arizona. We met friendly,politely interesting people had good conversation and to travel with couchsurfing must be popular, because it brings people with different ages together, the best way to live in peace.How unamusing evening it would be in a hotel, if we didn' t use couchsurfing!Find hosts to show us the villages, basars, historical , lovely and natural points in Iran was wonderful. Thank you hosts!

Interests

We like reading, bicycling, music, films about nature and history. Hansjoergs favorite is Alaska in wintertime. Hearing the silence in the wilderness is wonderful. I prefare hot springs all over the world -the best was in Al aska Mainley hot springs or Liards at the Alaska Highway. Let talk together then we find out more interests. We travel now by recreation car long distances and also in our country. Iran was our main interest in 2017. Desert, persian gulf and historic places and wonderful people we met there and on the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WE talk about if we will see us.1979 Hansjoerg and I won against the sozialist prison GDR (17 Million) before the safety iron curtain was fallen in 1989. That and the birth of a daughter and a son was greatest in our life .

Teach, Learn, Share

I would learn about life with nature, religion, cultur and history. I am interested to know how nurses in other countries work and learn and the health system is working. I show you how we do it in Germany. I have children in 2 other nice cities in Germany and my family in Berlin. We help you to find a couch there. We give you a bike, if you want or we repair your bike. You can learn german and we improve english or russian.
