About Me
ABOUT ME
I prefer learning from experience over learning from books (but I do love to read!). Therefore, I try to travel as much as possible. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where I taught some kids some math. Currently I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life and enjoy exploring new places in between.
PHILOSOPHY
If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it. This got me through Field Hockey Hell Week in high school, and some other hard things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love foreign and independent films, Music: Classic rock always has a soft spot in my heart, you can never go wrong with 90s pop and rock, and I'm also a big fan of the Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Modest Mouse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Victoria Falls...upside down. Also, swimming in the Pacific Ocean for the first time (This is a big deal if you have lived on the East Coast all of your life). And hugging a penguin.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to take a derivative or find an integral. Other than that, I can teach some things about the game of rugby! I'd love to learn really anything someone is willing to teach me, especially languages!
