About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to taste new fruits, see new life-forms, speak new languages, smell new landscapes, hear new songs, think new thoughts, etc.

ABOUT ME

I am really awesome! But also humble, so I can't really say that. I am difficult to describe, but most people laugh once they get to know me a little. I'm more like water than metal. Hard to pin down, sort of drifty. Not at all cold, but not too clear either.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm going to have to get back to you on that. I definitely have one, but it changes constantly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to listen more than I talk. Hopefully I can learn something this way. I do tend to ask a lot of questions!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't officially couchsurfed, but I have had more experiences than I could count that involved being or hosting a random houseguest. I love showing up at somebody's house and helping with the dishes! I've lived in many a collective house and had the wonderful experience of adventuring about the town with a friendly stranger found sleeping on my couch!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, films, and literature. I love seeing thought-provoking street art. I love watching documentaries. I love photography. I love drawing pictures. I think every person's life is a work of art. I would love to talk with you about what we find beautiful, but I don't want to be judged or judge others based on what movies, music, and books they like!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mostly, waking up every day leaves me awestruck, and I love it! When I was in college, I went to Kenya. I went to Hell's Gate National Park and walked around in the same place as zebras, giraffes, baboons, gazelles, and African buffalo. That was pretty great. I also have many amazing experiences of swimming under majestic waterfalls in Australia, Costa Rica, and right here in my home town!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking with people and learning about new foods and ways of preparing them! I can teach you a thing or two about plant identification and I know a few origami figures. I am always looking to learn more Spanish words and be exposed to different types of music.
