Adventurous,open,friendly, outgoing, positive..back in 2010 I travelled with my son on a round-the-world adventure..couch surfing led to many lovely new connections and memorable experiences with kind and generous folk from all over the world.

Would love to continue to meet like-minded people through spending time on their couches and through hosting once I have a couch to offer..currently my bed is the futon in my living room!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always surfed with my son which has made the experience both more challenging and yet more rewarding. We have been lucky to have been welcomed into many homes all around the world and for both of us every stay has been filled with positive memories with our hosts.

Interests

Travelling (surprise, surprise!) being in the Great Outdoors, making good new friends and spending lots of time with old ones, I love listening to all kinds of music and dancing even more..quite partial to singing when no-one's watching too! Love tennis too..

Music, Movies, and Books

Off the top of my head here's a few movies I've really loved...Shawshank Redemtion, Slum Dog Millionaire, Being John Malchovich,
I've just finished reading 'Birdsong' which I thought was great. Book update...just finished the Twilight books and totally loved them!!
Update:...just watched an awesome film with Luke which he absolutely LOVED...'Untouchable"..French film with subtitles and a beautiful funny true story...heart-warming stuff!
As for music, I like loads of different stuff, especially the Kings of Leon, Adele and Florence and the Machine at the moment..
