ABOUT ME

I moved to the Central Coast of California a year ago. After living in the East Coast my whole life I am enjoying all the new places to explore.

PHILOSOPHY

I work in a trauma unit in a hospital, so I know how precious life is. It is so important to live for the day. I hope that in my work I pass along a glimmer of hope for someone who is hurting, a hand to hold when they are scared. I try to see the good in people always.

兴趣

Other than traveling? I'm love to read. I was an English Lit major before becoming a nurse, so I have varied tastes in books. I enjoy hiking with my dog, mountain biking (definite beginner), yoga and horseback riding. I've recently learned to ride a motorcycle and am enjoying that.I love going out to the theater to see plays, the symphony, or the ballet I also love sitting around a cozy coffee house or restaurant with friends talking about everything or nothing. Sometimes I just want to sit quietly and watch a good movie, read a book, or knit a scarf. That usually doesn't last too long and I find myself on a dance floor sipping a cocktail enjoying the night life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've hiked through Sequoia National Park... just seeing the majesty of those incredible trees puts things into perspective! I traveled through Wales and south western England last summer... just beautiful!
