Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Riding my bicycle from Seattle to Portland, down to SanFrancisco and then out to Denver/Boulder
ABOUT ME
Relaxed, Open Minded, Transparent. A little goofy and open to spontaneity. I like being social! Queer identified, cis gender, feminist. I probably love you, if you're a person. (Dogs are people too)
I am extremely considerate of all people around me, and try to be as constantly aware of my situations as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to challenge myself to expand my view. I think it is so important to remain proud of who you are and what you believe in and equally important to remain humble. I acknowledge that everyone has something to teach or show me. I have the desire to learn about and appreciate many different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to the CS community. I wasn't sure what to expect, but so far it seems I have discovered quite the gem here. Looking forward to host travelers, seekers, and explorers. For now, I will be staying on couches as I explore the West Coast!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. I'm brand new! Hopeful for the new experiences and people to come.
Interests
Discussing, thinking about, and participating in all types of art. Embracing new ideas. Eating veggies. Smiles. Exploring the outdoors. Learning every day. Bicycles (duh) equal rights and a somewhat radical feminist agenda. Nuts and bolts. Race cars. 80's Hardcore. Jazz/Funk fusion.

Music, Movies, and Books
Minor Threat, Fugazi, Portishead, The Clash, Modern Life is War, Lifetime, Avail, Cake, Wu-Tang Clan, Deltron, Mobb Deep,Yonder Mountain String Band, Motorhead, Pink Floyd, Tony Rice, Bella Fleck, James Taylor, Made of Wood, Wyclef, Lauren Hill, Mark O'Connor, all types of traditional music from different cultures. 90's EDM for dance parties of course.
I enjoy reading books that can teach me something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Guiding a leaking raft full of inexperienced paddlers through Section 9 of the French Broad River by moonlight. We waited in an eddy above Kayakers Ledge (Class 4 waterfall) until a train finally rolled by and we ran the rapid unscathed using the light from the passing train. So epic.
