About Me
I'm half Indonesian/half British
I spent the first seven years of my life between Bali and the UK, then I moved over to Brunei for about five years and went over to Bangkok for another four years. I work as a Night Manager at a hotel in the city centre.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having been brought up abroad, living back in the UK gives me cabin fever so I like to escape on short-long trips whenever I can and CS is a good way to do this economically whilst meeting people from all walks of life. Likewise with hosting whilst I'm at home, it's good to meet interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My genre of choice is Indie, but I also listen to all kinds of different stuff when I feel like it on Spotify.
Some of my favourite authors are Murakami and Gary Shteyngart
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whilst hiking through Kyrgyzstan I met a nomadic family in a mountain valley miles from civilisation and they invited me to stay with them for the night in their yurt. We spent the night talking (through my Russian phrasebook and a bit of charades) and drinking copious amount of fermented mares milk under the stars with no light pollution. It is probably one of my most memorable travel experiences.
