A friend I met in Mongolia introduced me to Couchsurfing whilst we were in Beijing, where her host kindly let me join them - within 24 hours I'd already experienced the city in such a different way than if I'd just stuck to hostels, so I was instantly hooked. Any opportunity to experience what local life is like would be very much appreciated :)
