Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host people when I can to help out fellow like-minded travellers but also to show people what my favourite spots in cities are. Helping people find those specials places where the locals relax, drink and dine.

Interests

Music.
I like a wide range of music from smooth jazz to heavy hip hop, rifftastic rock to passionate latino. But my love for music does not stop at listening and discovering I also love writing and playing music. One thing I love about travelling is how many experiences and cultures are opened to you, which is great inspiration for writing music. Whether I am listening to music on my own hiking or enthralled at live concerts I am always ready to boogie.

Food.
Something I have the pleasure (and the privilege) of doing at least 2 times a day is eating! There isn't much food that I won't eat. But one thing I love to do with food more than eating it is cooking it. I easily lose my self in the kitchen getting carried away exploring new cuisines and new combinations. Travelling presents many new foods to me which is great as I am always adding new recipes and techniques to my ever growing recipe collection.

The Expansive Outdoors.
There are so many great sports which have brought me to love the outdoors and many hobbies that I am still to try. But I love anything that rushes adrenaline through my veins or gives me goose pimples at staggering views and vistas. I love hiking and taking in all of the immense surroundings that we are immersed in on this planet, however for me cycling is the greatest speed you can travel at. Fast enough to cover a large distance in a day, but slow enough to absorb the people and cultures along the way.
