Hey everyone! My name is Will and I'm a 22 year old who graduated from the best University in the world (University of North Carolina) in May 2019.

I have always loved traveling and am trying to travel as much as I can before I have to take a stable job and sacrifice my freedom lol. I'm outgoing, love seeing new places and meeting new people, experiencing other cultures and having deep conversations, and jumping off high things into water.

I have lived in North Carolina my entire life and love it with my whole heart. Having awesome beaches and the Appalachian mountains has shaped me into loving all kinds of outdoor exploration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just learned that Couchsurfing exists, and it seems like the best of both worlds. It's a cool way to travel and meet awesome locals, while getting to travel and explore frugally. I am currently on Couchsurfing as a potential guest, but would love someday to live somewhere awesome and be able to host people too!

I have always loved meeting new people and discovering new food, music, cities, landscapes, you name it. This seems like the best place to do that.

PS I am not verified as it seems a little steep price but planning on getting it soon so there's no worries!

Music, Movies, and Books

I genuinely love all kinds of music depending on my mood/surrounding. Grew up listening to country, love rap, alternative, EDM, folk, rock.

Some of my favorite artists are Zac Brown Band, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, RKS. Finding new music is one of my hobbies and I love sharing what I find with other people as well as getting great music from new people I meet.

Fave movies- The Dark Knight, Borat, any Will Ferrell

Fave books- Gates of Fire (book about Spartans fighting at Thermopylae, aka 300 movie), The Nightingale (WW II fiction). Growing up the Percy Jackson series was my absolute favorite, and I still love Greek mythology today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been skydiving with one of my best friends right outside the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, but I feel like that's too common.

I learned the basics of blacksmithing at the summer camp I worked at, made a couple knives, arrowheads, J hooks, and candle holders. I got to spend half the day everyday in a forge working with fire, hammers, and metal and teaching kids how to make cool stuff.
