About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To watch, talk, read, think, sleep Baseball over the summer
ABOUT ME
People seem to think I'm quite intelligent, slightly mischievous, perhaps a little sarcastic, and overall positive. I really enjoy my life, even if it is of quite a geeky nature, So I reckon they'd point out that. The main reason for this is I love my job. They'd also probably comment how I really don't do orthodox holidays, and when I went to Kefalonia with my girlfriend recently, several people pointed out that such a holiday 'wasn't really my thing'.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's too short to waste 40 hours a week doing something you hate. Find a job you love, and be willing to compromise salary

Interests
It sounds a bit naff, but I love sport. In particular Cricket, Baseball and American Football and could lose hours of my life talking to someone who was as interested as I am. I've travelled about the world watching the England team, with the upshot of it meaning I get to see the world. After travelling to India, Sri Lanka and South Africa with half an eye on watching sport, I discovered so much more, and one thing that is underrated in terms of travelling is trying all the different types of food.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Forrest Gump and the new Batman films, Music: The Hold Steady, The National, Spoon, The Shins, Newton Faulkner Books: My favourite classic is Jane Eyre by Anne Bronte, and also love anything by Conn Iggulden
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My proudest achievement is running the Edinburgh Marathon, 18 months later I have no idea how I did it. I'm proud of my work, my family, and the fact I bungee jumped down the Valley at Storms River in the Eastern Cape. In terms of being awestruck, climbing Table Mountain was cool (no I didn't use the cable car!), and surviving 3 months in South Africa on my own, despite being quite a relaxed and quiet character on arrival, did me a lot of good. At the age of 26 though, I'm pacing myself as to doing amazing things, so plan on doing a lot more from here on in.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you about the world of probability, which is field of work. However, when it is broken down into its purest form it isn't all that interesting, though when applied to sport it suddenly because meaningful. At the age of 26 I'm still building up a portfolio of wisdom, via snippits of information from all over the world. I've spent a lot of time reading up on Mongolian and Roman history, the foundations of both these great former empires is surprisingly alike. That information, is marginally less dull than probability.
