About Me
**Just had a roomate move in...so at this point, we can only really host 1 person at most and for only 1 night. Please contact me early, as we are busy people and my house is small.**
** References are a MUST! We rarely accept people without references. **
ABOUT ME
My wife and I love people. Pragmatic and very much a problem solver. Prefer to fix things over buy new. Prefer to travel over spend money at the bar.
I am a bit of a planner, so....try not to send me LAST MINUTE requests. I prefer at least 3-4 days notice before youre going to be here...1 week or more is ideal.
We just recently got a dog, so you have to be ok with a small dog in the house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I once let a pack of 9 bicycle cab drivers stay at my house during a conference. That was before I signed up for couchsurfing officially.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have spent a large portion of my life staying with friends. Ironically, many of the couches I slept on in the past have now been passed down to me and they sit in my living room.
Interests
Love the outdoors, both in an active sense and in a casual sense (love hammocking). I spend a lot of time doing community service, both in my professional life (i work in goverment) and in my personal life (I volunteer a lot). I can relate to anyone also, due to a ridiculous variety of life experience, despite my young age.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have spent over an hour looking for fossil shark teeth on the coast of north england.
I often find myself getting up early to see the sunrise if I am near a body of water or mountain that is in the east.
I have spent over an hour drinking wine on a beach in barcelona with my girlfriend.
I spent two years servings people in AmeriCorps after college.
