ABOUT ME

Originally from New Zealand, I moved to the UK in summer 2013 after living for four years in Berlin, Germany. I'm a musician and I also write and work with video. By day I work in a small cafe here in London, and previously I worked as a cook in Germany. Everything I do is devoted towards being able to travel as much as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment the only real philosophy I have is to see as much of the part of the world that I'm in as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with a number of people that a friend of mine met through couch surfing connections in the last few years and also met a couple more people they've hosted here. Every time it's been a totally successful experience and when I finish travelling in a few months and settle back down in Brighton I'd like to host and meet more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on a couple of different couches in Edinburgh and Paris, and ended up becoming friends with virtually all the great hosts. They were always super friendly and inclusive and really helped me get to grips with the city I was staying in. I'm very self-sufficient but for them to be willing to take the time to help and direct me was fantastic.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

My band played in Istanbul in 2012 which was a fantastic experience. The city is beautiful and the people were incredibly friendly.
