About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To cook some tasty food (very short term) + stop being a student and do anything

ABOUT ME

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2212493250&ref=search#!/will.damazer

Above is my facebook. Photos are typically from nights out so please don't judge me too much.

Firstly would describe myself as scatty. Can be abit over the place often skipping conversations without telling anyone. I'm open though and friendly. I'm enthusiastic about most things I do.

I'm not quite arty but probably wish I was. I get along with anyone who is passionate about something. Doesn't matter what it is.

Finished Uni last year went travelling for a bit and now have made it back to London. Trying to explore as much of it as possible.

I like to go out whether it's the day or night. I find it hard to stay on the couch all day although since returning from Uni I do find myself couch bound a bit too much (glad to be getting abroad). Love home but love travelling just as much.

PHILOSOPHY

Google everything! I really value trying to find new things out.
Meeting new people also gives me a massive buzz.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live at home when I'm not so it's hard to put people up. But I am always available to show people around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only had a few. Just helping my friends show people around London. Best time so far has been remembering my basic basic Italian over a couple of pints (actually helped) with some couch surfers from east Italy.

Interests

Coffee. Well drinking coffee. Really like wondering around town and finding new places to have some. I Actually just wondering round town in general is good.

I'm starting photography at the moment (very amateur) but just got 36 photos erased by a camera shop (not happy). Bout to move to digital.

For some reason i'm addicted to Basketball (am 5'9 and not athletic). Always up for a game if people have the patience to play with me.

I'm a student of economics. Like politics and eventually want to go into development. Always keen to learn and listen from people around the world.

Love dance music. Fiddle around on traktor decks, and am one of the many many part time DJ hobbists in this world who don't know what they're doing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Ferris Buellers big day off, Dr. Strangelove, The Matrix & Anchorman (standardly)

Books:Bit of a non fiction type of person...Affluent Society is probs my favourite. Just started a bit of fiction though, Dorian Gray my favourite so far.

Music: EVERYTHING (that's good). Really varied taste. Mister Saturday Night is my perfect type of music. Fun, disco, housey, funk - whatever. Before that really enjoyed The Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, and before that Kooks and Maccabees. Sorry not to narrow it down. Also like a bit of J5 and Kid Cudi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to India for awhile on my gap year (/yah). Didn't find myself :-). But went to Varanasi (didn't take a dip) and Darjeeling for the tea. My favourite part though were the Western Ghats in Karnataka and Jaisalmer in the North West. Just really beautiful.

Things i've done...still 20 is my main excuse for a short list. I campaigned on the Obama campaign for abit. I was in Wisconsin so I really didn't do anything useful in the end. I taught football in India for 2 and a bit months.

Ah...just read that it was only meant to be one thing. Sorry.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied economics so....nothing useful to teach there.

If not then I can cook a bit (Jamie's Italian is my bible). Tomato and bread soup, trust me. I used to juggle (pretty badly) but if anyone is keen I can give it a go.

If your coming to London though I love walking around the town and I can show people some cool places to go for coffee or shopping.

Countries I’ve Visited
