About Me
In the office from 9 - 5, designing software applications, emailing clients, daily team meetings and deadlines. This was the reality I found myself in, as I watched precious life tick past from behind a computer screen. I couldn't ignore it any longer ... I needed to get out there and live , not just exist in a daily routine. So I quit, sold my car, packed my bag, said goodbye, and set off find adventure!
I'm happy, easy-going, rainbows-and-unicorns kinda person. The outdoors is my happy place :) :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch many movies, but I love to read. Any good story or epic tale make me very happy, anything from Jane Austin to Terry Pratchett. When I get stuck in a good book I disappear from the world for a while ;)
I enjoy any music that makes me feel good! Specifically electronic genres, like psy trance, dubstep and minimal. Other than that, I love the classsics, like the Chili Peppers, Nirvana, the Doors .. I could go on and on :) I really enjoy spending time on SoundCloud discovering new beats. The right music at the right time is the key to happiness! :) :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Rinjani, the 2nd highest volcano in Indonesia. At 3,726 m (12,224 ft), it was the toughest thing, mentally and physically, that I've ever done! But, an incredible adventure that I got to share with my best friend, bonus :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Where ever I travel to, I'm very interested in the local culture, especially the food and natural surroundings. I love stories and I love to learn, so any knowledge I can gain is much appreciated.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach yoga, I can share experiences about scuba diving and trekking, I can teach hula hooping and poi. I can help out with or give advice on websites and apps, I can even teach some basic HTML and CSS. I'm a pretty good cook too, and more than happy to help with housework and gardening.
