Travel the world! I want to see, do, try, and experience everything. I know this is impossible but I will still try.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in New York CIty but went to high school in Minnesota. I moved back to New York City for university. After working and studying my entire life I have just finished my masters degree in economics and I have decided to chase my dreams traveling the world and doing everything I have ever wanted before I go home and begin my career. I love being active, eating, trying new things, talking, philosophizing, drinking coffee, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in learning from the past, enjoying the moment here and now, and chasing dreams. Use the past to become wiser and your future to motivate you today. Just remember that you live life in the present so you must always appreciate here and now and that your future starts today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling and looking to meet locals in the places I go. When I go home after my big trip I plan to have a couch where all the people I met along the way will hopefully visit and stay with me in NYC where I can show them the insider knowledge and give the true NYC experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I have had an account for a very long time I have not actually participated very much but I plan to start now!
I tried Couchsurfing in the Philippines and had the best experience. I hope to try surfing some more.

Backpacked through europe, studied in central america, sky diving, scuba diving, snowboarding in Colorodo, rock climbing in Thailand, motorbiking through Vietnam, hitch hiking. Too many amazing things to list only one!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english, economics, yoga, and photography. I love learning so much that its hard for me to get really good at something because there are too many things that I'm interested in. I find that when someone is passionate about something, it could be anything, they are the best people to learn from. I always try to learn some of the language everywhere I go. I love sharing stories, tips, travel strategy, and hidden secrets.
