ABOUT ME

My sister and I are from the US and traveling together right now so here is a little bit about us.

Will: I'm 19. I'm a musician and a writer. I love backpacking and mountain climbing with some camping and kayaking on the side. I started school last year in Wildlife Sciences and Biology but realized it wasn't for me. I dropped out and decided to travel to New Zealand. I'm constantly on the move but I'm in NZ until June 18th 2014. I can't really describe my personality in all honesty. I'm humbly good at nothing, but astonishingly talented at doing everything averagely. I'm traveling all the time and I'm always looking for new people to meet and share some experiences with.

Sam: I am 22 and a recent graduate from Hofstra University. I studied Global Studies, History, and Speech Communication and Social Rhetoric. I am taking a year off to travel and then returning to the States to start my graduate studies. I've traveled a lot and am really excited about the opportunity to meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm 19. I'm just trying to figure out what being young is about. Is it just a footnote of my entire life or is it more important to live in the now and do what I want for myself instead of making myself miserable trying to "save up" for my future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started using couch surfing while traveling in New Zealand to find places to stay. I plan on giving up my couch when ever I can when I return to the US
