About Me
Hi,
I'm Willem (or short Willy is fine). I am currently travelling throughout Canada and the United States together with my friend Tommy Lippold. We just finished high school in Germany and then wanted to go explore the world, which is basically North America.
We're always looking forward to meeting up with new, awesome people and learning about your country.
I am pretty low-maintenance. Just a corner to sleep in is fine and I'd appreciate a hot shower in the morning. I don't need to be fed either.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that we are travelling, we frequently need accomodation spontanously. But what's fun about just renting a random, boring room for a night? Travelling is kind of pointless if you're just looking at buildings or nature. Couchsurfing helps us getting in touch with awesome people and learning a lot of cool stuff about them and their countries.
Interests
Playing video games, playing the viola (for 9 years now), parties, listening to music, occasionally jogging or going to the gym, traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Basically everything with a few exceptions.
Books: Meh.
Movies: No movies I like in particular.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I used to be a video game tester in Montreal. Probably every guy's dream job.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to order a beer in German.
Other than that, I'm always open to sharing music, experiences, food, or whatever else you'd like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travelling experiences, of course. I'm always up for parties. I might be able to use my humble cooking skills to cook some German food and I'd also be happy to take you out for a beer or two.
If you're ever going to come to Germany, I would welcome you at my house in my small, but neat hometown.
