ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 old bloke from Leuven, Belgium. It's a small university town, full of beautiful medieval buildings. It's also world-famous for it's Stella Artois beer.

Needless to say that I enjoy a good beer ;-) Another thing that I absolutely love is the ocean. As a kid my parents always took me to the Belgian coast where my dad taught me how to swim and to enjoy water sports like bodyboarding, skim boarding, kitesurfing, sailing etc.

I'm a pretty easy-going guy who is always looking for a way to broaden his horizons.

I've travelled a little bit so far in Europe; I went surfing in South France last summer, as well as roadtripping through the Czech Republic, Hungaria and Slovenia. Now and than I go to Glasgow in Scotland to visit my younger brother who's studying over there as a ocean engineer. Last year I also spend some months in Australia for my thesis as a bio-engineer where I researched alternate ways of fertilizing crops using naturally-occuring micro-organisms.

Now that I have my masters degree, I want to see more of the world starting with Latin America. Together with two of my best friend I'm now traveling from Mexico al the way down to Argentina. I hope to learn more about the history, cultures and traditions of Latin America.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, don't make it more complicated than it is. It's the only thing you'll ever really own!
