Overview
About Me
I'm a history student. In holiday's I am a tour guide for a small travel company which has visited (and still does) all the countries of the world! We di wild camping practically everywhere. Contact with locals is one of the main goals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel solo. The disadvantage of that is that you can't share your experiences. Ans people at home usually don't understand. So it's always nice to meet other travelers. And because it's fun!
Interests
I'm interested in history, music, philosophy, theology, science, astronomy, politics, and travelling...

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm afraid I am a bit classical orientated. Not boring at all. My favourite composer by far is Johann Sebastian Bach. Furthermore I really enjoy listening to the late Romantics. I like to read non-fiction. In literature I prefer realism like Gontsjarovs Obolomov, and Bouvard et Pecuchet from Flaubert.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like challenges. In 2011 I crossed the South American continent overland, without the use of an airplane. From coast to coast, from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean, from Rio de Janeiro to Lima which is over 6500 km. When I was 16 I walked around the island where I'm born which is 110 km in under 24 hours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to share my travel experiences with others and I'm very curious what I can learn from you!
