I recently quit my job as an engineer of a brewery after over 11 years so that I a focus full time on traveling more. Being on the East coast of the US for all of that time, I found it difficult to make it across the Pacific as much as I would have liked so that's where I would like to start out.

I decided to start learning Mandarin Chinese in Taipei along my travels. I don't know how long I'll be there but it's been fun so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped off a 70 foot high WWII submarine base that was carved into the side of an island in Croatia. It was awesome but I definitely bruised the back of my legs and my backside for a couple of weeks.

I just finished my scuba divemaster in the Philippines. It was amazing and a big deal for a guy who was terrified of the ocean just a few years ago.
