Overview
About Me
I have a positive and friendly disposition. I’m not generally a wild and high energy person (though that changes with tequila). More of a laid back, peace-and-love sort of guy. Let’s all just get along, haha!
My girlfriend might be with me on my travels, but will usually be traveling on my own. She’s a nurse as well, and extremely generous, kind, and friendly. You’ll love her if you get the chance to meet her.
I am currently a nursing student with hopes of getting into a master’s degree as an advanced practice provider in the future. I’m a lover of life, positivity, and good vibes. I have a passion for learning about cultures, religions, languages, and different walks of life. I look at my travels through a somewhat anthropological lens, but also embrace the exhilarating adventures that come along with being in unfamiliar environments.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught myself the Hmong language and then developed a language class for English speakers wishing to learn the basics of the Hmong language. I’ve also escaped from a cult I was raised in, for which I now have a newfound appreciation for the openness of the world and all the hidden opportunities I can explore!
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to teach Spanish, English or Hmong (though I doubt many people want to learn Hmong...), or how to dance or meditate. Would love to learn some yoga! And of course, I would enjoy learning about any languages you speak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m from Wisconsin. We have the BEST cheese. If interested, let me know!!!! It’s the sole reason I haven’t been able to stick to veganism. The cheese is just too damn good.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico
