Hellooo! Nice to meet you :) I'm Will, from the UK. I currently live in NYC, as I have done for the last two and a half years. I love the city and all the incredible opportunities it has to offer, but equally love getting out to explore the rest of this - frankly epic - country! I work in the creative industry, and that love of design and most things cultural extends well beyond the office. I am a keen open water swimmer, and massive food lover also (those two are best enjoyed separately though I find :)

I am a people person through and through. Put quite simply, people fascinate me and meeting new ones is really what makes me tick. Therefore I have decided to take some off work and embark on a trip by road and rail around the US to meet people from all over and really get more of a view of the true America. I want to meet, listen, and try to understand as much as I can about what goes into making this truly unique union of states. And I'm not going to get that at the holiday inn ;)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music is a tough one. My taste is hugely eclectic, from classical to drum and bass, to vocal house, to hip hop and even old school UK garage! But I do like a lot fo the old ones too - this is tough!
Movies: Zoolander, American History X, Hunger Games, Meet the Parents, the Hangover. It varies from serious to ridiculous.
Book: Basically anything where I am learning. Currently reading Our Political Nature: The evolutionary origins of what divides us (highly recommend it).

I once ate six kebabs in 2 days in Istanbul. Well, I was proud :) Ok, something amazing...er, I once drove six hours to give my ex-girlfriend (who lived in another city at the time) a hug as she was upset. I then got back in the car and drove back. She thought it was amazing at least!
