I've travelled through Europe a fair bit these last few years and my couchsurfing experiences have been cool and in some cases kind of inspiring. I'm easy to get along with and enjoy a social drink.

In the last year i've become very keen on swing dance and I'm keen to check out dancing communities in other cities :-).

I love that feeling of meeting a new person that you really get along with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make friends, share knowledge, share optimism, give something of myself that other people will benefit from be inspired, make change, be kind, in-turn share their potential to impact others ... and travel

Interests

Snowboarding, surfing, running, cycling, golf, cooking and eating good food!!, nice wines, craft beer ( I have 7 years of craft home brewing under my belt, so to speak), SWING DANCE!, yoga (for my back and mind).
I like spoken word poetry and I've started to dabble in some of it over the last few years. It's exciting for me (not really for other people perhaps) and kinda deep.
When settled I like to grow vegetables, if my home setup permits, have friends over for dinner parties and banter.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like heaps of music but feel I don't know nearly enough and need to discover more. I like the old rock numbers sometimes: led zep, doors, jimi etc. I like good dub/reggae and other soulful jams. Good dance music when I'm out with friends. Newer stuff uh: modest mouse, LCD sound system, hot chip, NZ rootsy numbers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved to other side of the world to mix it up, or 3 weeks powder snowboarding in Japan. Performed spoken word poetry at a music festival randomly.
