Ahoy Captain! Great to have you here :D

As your traveling german dude that doesn't behave like most germans do, I just have the URGE to dance and travel around the world and meet people, their cultures, wisdoms and places.
I love to get deep with cultures, not just being "a tourist" there for a week, but rather get to know the stories of the people, so that once I'm back I'll be able to share experiences and stories rather than "Oh, I've seen Macchu Picchu." - and extract life lessons!
I'm radically honest (at least as far as I know) and always looking for the truth in an argument - rather than trying to be right. Also, while traveling, saying "YES!" to all opportunities presented is a go-giver! So I guess that makes me pretty open minded?
Parental Safety Advice: I may have a high tolerance for activities that could (and should) induce "SHAME!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet, dance with and feed all the people around the places I visit, to get into the feeling of being a local and getting into deep conversations - which couchsurfing will provide as a pretty neat basis :D

Interests

I really really like to dance. Maybe a bit too much, if there is too much?
Also - Mountain Climbing! Not the hardcore rope stuff, but rather free climbing and not just walking up there.
Getting out of my comfort zone in social and physical situations- How about pushing your mind and body to 2 months of intensive fighting courses? I'M IN!
Also, deep yet funny conversations get me faster into becoming a waterfall of words than just small talk.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I'm in love with songs that are somewhat lyrical and alive - pretty expressionless description, I know. Yet, if the song provides real feeling and is danceable, I will love it. (Most of the times that's love songs, not surprising at all :D)

On books I'd say everything that educates and states good points, or is simply hilarious: Good Omens from Neil Gaimann/Terry Pratchett, The Alchemist and Veronica decides to die by Paulo Coelho and a lot of Psychology, some including Thinking Fast and Slow, Predictably Irrational or The Power of Habit - and so many more!

Films: Fifty Shades of Grey! No, I'm kidding (Am I?) --- Good Will Hunting is awesome, Black mirror is a mind-boggling yet terrifying series!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in the old days, when The Donald just took over America, I'd climb some mountains - like a 13'000ft mountain in Colorado. This rocks and sucks the oxygen out of your lungs... quite literally. This sparked a brand new interest!

Also... The mountains around Denver, "substances" and stereotypical american objects... more in person ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to dance. Well, partner dance, and it's the most awesome dance that nearly nobody knows of! :D

I always want to learn from people - on any topic at hand. Cross connections in your brain are always beautiful (This is psychology William speaking. Don't worry, it's normal :P)

How about we share our abilities to cook some nice meals, grandma style? Or bake cakes? I know not many, but the ones my grandma told me are WONDERFULLY SUPERB!
