Overview
About Me
Born and raised in a Eco conscious California town where over 100 grape varieties vital to the wine industry originated, artificial insemination of honeybees was discovered, tomatoes capable of being machine harvested were developed, the modern plug in hybrid was invented, and if you didn't ride a bicycle you couldn't have ANY friends.
Studied Behavioral Neuroscience and Technology Management while going to school on the beach of Santa Barbara.
I will be moving to Vietnam to teach English and study for the medical entrance exam.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friends said it was a great way to meet wonderful and generous people from around the world.
I've come to learn that travelers are a unique breed. They see things differently and have incredible outlooks on life. Simply said, they seems to just get 'it.' It's great to meet like minded people and I think all travelers have more than a fair share in common. Who doesn't love a locals point of view?
Interests
Expand the mind.
Interested in helping people and the world reach new heights. Interested in health, agriculture systems, and the mind (to keep things brief)
I'm most passionate about music. I love just about every form and can spend hours at a time playing and making music to listening, or dancing my ass off. Also really love snowboarding, cooking (and eating), traveling/backpacking, hiking, playing sports, people, and laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much music to list. Let's talk later. Movies . . . a rib breaking comedy or intense drama can be pretty rad. Quinten terrentino is a genius. More of a tv series guy if anything (breaking bad, house of cards, the office, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, blue mountain state, etc.) Books - enders game, Harry potter, shantaram, the hobbit, a very short history of nearly everything, neuroscience stuff...
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about people and their cultures, and I find food, music, and dance to be a beautiful way to share it. I'm a pretty curious guy and genuinely enjoy experiencing new things. Love learning about life growing up in a different countries, food, athletics, ways of thinking, but sometimes it's good just to share some laughs
Happy to share music, language, stories, food (can cook dishes from around the world), smiles, laughter, etc. Know a good bit about neuroscience and the mind from both classic western neurobiology to Easter meditation/Vapassana.
I'm a certified English teacher and love talking and helping others learn so I'm happy to help with your English even if it's just through conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty great cook and would love to show you some of my favorite dishes. Massages are fun to share! Happy to share any experiences. Also, I am more than happy to share my home back in California!
