About Me

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do read my whole profile and my home page as there will be a small requirement for you.

I'm a very friendly and open person, I was born and raised in Germany but my family has resided to Thailand in 2007, I've since been studying there. I'm flexible and easy-going, I'm quite the mix of an introvert and extrovert, meaning I open up, but not to everyone, but once I do open up, you'll see a very different, fun and enjoyable side of me.

I like having conversations with people about life, their views and opinions. I enjoy having a good laugh or banter. (my English friend taught me that word, and I love it)

Finally, I have this ambition and dream, that I'll try to make it happen, to travel as many major cities in world as possible before I turn 24 (when I graduate uni). Quite the dream and ambition don't you think? :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think traveling is all about meeting new people, exploring new places and of course finding yourself. And why not do it with a local and build a perhaps lasting friendship from it?

I also have a lot things I'd want to do like seeing London Bridge, The Canals of Amsterdam, The Swiss Alps and La Padera in Barcelona.

I love the concept of CS and will definitely be hosting and surfing in the near future. (Thailand is a really, really nice place to visit by the way!)

Interests

I love to play on my guitar, I really do, but with all the Uni stuff, I really didn't have much time to play unfortunately. I'm also really into sports like badminton, tennis, basketball and football, I regularly play football at a club in Thailand. (Yes, it's a pain playing in 37C weather in Thailand lol)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into alternative rock and just rock in general. I listen to bands from way back in the days like AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Bon Jovi to more contemporary bands like Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Metallica and many, many more.

My favorite of all-time is Thunderstruck by AC/DC, also my favorite guitarists are Jack Thammarat, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, they're amazing guitarists and people I idolize.
Apart from being a rock-head, I really enjoy listening to electronic music, artists or producers like Daft Punk, Hardwell, Deadmau5, Avicii and Swedish House Mafia really pump me at the gym.

Well I do watch movies, but I'm more of a TV show guy. Breaking Bad is the best TV series there has ever been (don't even question that :P), I also really like Sherlock and Homeland, these two shows are extremely interesting and leave you always wanting more after an episode ends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding a bicycle from the city center of Siem Reap to Ankor Wat (One of the Seven Wonders of the world) at 5 AM in the darkness. Was surely an experience I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach..

I'm fluent in English, German and Thai and would love to teach any of those languages to anyone :)

Learn..

I'd be forever thankful to anyone who can teach how to cook properly haha. But yeah I'd love to learn a dish or two. I can cook basic Thai dishes but anything beyond that just seems to turn out as mishap haha.

Austria, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Laos, Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
