About Me
Hi! I am a student at Sarah Lawrence College studying at Oxford for the year. This year I am studying Film and Sociology. I grew up in Chicago on the north side where I developed an interest in collaborating on film projects. I left Chicago for New York to experience being on my own, and I am continuing that experience by living in the UK for a year and traveling through Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing because I am a student traveling through Europe trying to explore and immerse myself in new places. Couch surfing is a more affordable option that will allow me to stay in places that I would not have been able to otherwise. I also believe it can lead to meeting new and interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite film of all time is "Tangerine" by Sean Baker, although my favorite documentary is "Paris is Burning" by Jennie Livingston and it is a close second. Some of my favorite musical artists are Princess Nokia, Missy Elliot, and Tierra Whack, although my taste is always changing. My favorite author is James Baldwin, although I also like Toni Morrison and Haruki Murakami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A student film I made was accepted into a few festivals over the summer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very aware of myself in spaces, so I am clean, quiet, polite, and leave places where I was a guest as I found them. I can share food or drink, and focused and thoughtful conversation. I am a very easy going, kind, respectful, and open minded person. I would be happy to take on chores, tasks, or errands too!
