I am a physics graduate student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln as a large part of my life. Another part of me is someone who loves board games, movies, and occasional reading. I'm an active person who enjoys going to the gym regularly and rock climbing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend Karl (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/karl-ahrendsen) is on couch surfing and it was the first I had heard of it. I love the idea of meeting new and interesting people and it seems like couch surfing is filled with people like that. I wanted to be a part of it so I joined and look forward to meeting more new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big three genres are Indie, Rock, and Rap (Examples: Vampire Weekend, ELO, and Aesop Rock). My favorite movies are No Country for Old Men, Big Fish, and others (too many). My favorite book is Brave New World, The Martian, and others.

I also listen to a few podcasts like MBMBAM, The Adventure Zone, and a few others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Give me access to your cooking ware, ingredients, and spices, and I'll cook you up a nice meal. Or I can clean the tops of shelves and change light bulbs.
