I'm now on my second (gap) year after studying art and design as a foundation diploma. I'm hoping to go back to University in September 2016 to study graphic design. I've spent my last summer working as a wakeboarding instructor and councillor at a summer camp in Massachusetts, America for kids aged 8-16. I had such an amazing time I'm just about to book my flight back for this summer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm pretty new to couchsurfing, I was told about it a few months ago by my brother and thought it was a great concept. I've herd it's a great way to meet cool people whilst travelling or just staying somewhere new and I can't wait to try it out.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, it's mainly alternative rock/folk music and acoustics. But I'm also a big hip hop fan, Notorious B.I.G, NaS and Mos Def are all regulars on my playlists. I like to mix music and do this mainly with house music which is a lot of fun and gives me a reason to show off my (questionable) dance moves!
I read books when I can, I've just finnished a series of short stories by Jeffery Archer and before that, Freakanomics which is fantasic should anyone ever stumble across it at a book shop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm well theres a few contenders but I think the one which stands out slightly more is the time I got to go scuba diving off The Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I got to see some turtles, groupas, sting rays and some sharks (que the hyperventilating).

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be cool to share stories and experiences, maybe a cup of tea. I've also been known to cook some pretty tastey food.
