Well to tell you a bit about myself, I would say I'm this type of student who is sick of always staying in the same place doing the same things. I like to meet new people, from different cultures and who love sharing their experiences and their passion (mine is music).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to do couchsurfing because I think it really changes the way you travel. I go to the same destinations quite often but the people I go with or that I meet change totally (and positively) my trip. As I live in Lille (north of France) I had the chance to go to several cities arround (like Rotterdam, Brussels etc.) that were amazing and that I would love to discover again. I usually decide to go to those place for gigs (rock, jazz, electronic or hip hop).

Favorite Music:
Wow I could talk for a very long time about that...

Rock: Jimi Hendricks = god, Tame Impala... I'm really open there but I like mainly garage, progressive and folk rock.

Electronic: I listen from disco to techno. I'm really into stuff like Stephan Bodzin as well as Maurice Fulton.

HipHop: Lords of the underground, The Roots etc. I don't really like the newest stuff comming out but I still find that guys like Kendrick Lamar are genuis.

Jazz: I'm not an expert but I know I love what Kamasi Washington does. Otherwise I have a favorite track which is : Abdallah's Delight by Art Blakey.

I also like brazilian music + other stuff but I'll stop there ;)

About Movies:
I'll be general on this topic but I could say way more.
Pixar movies, Wes Anderson and Cannes festival.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recorded an album with my band Jack & Jenny's when I was 16. Apparently some friends still hear our song on the radio 5 years after and I also heard some foreign students were studying our lyrics in class! It was amazing to know that haha!

If you want I can teach you some french, skateboard, guitare, mix on vinyls, compose electronic music etc. But a part from french you would actually need the items ;)

I have plenty of annecdotes about my trips to Russia, my british family, french culture, my hometown Annecy (the most beautiful place on earth) and about my experience in music of course. We can also share a beer together!
