Hello!

I am a 25 year old Canadian that has a love and passion for traveling, eating and experiencing new things in life. I am ex-military, that has worked throughout Europe and the Middle-East. I love meeting new people on my travels, and finding the best local places to eat.

I grew up in Montreal, moved to Florida then to Nice, France for 7 years returning to Canada in 2000. I have lived a fairly typical life, went to high school and CEGEP (college equivalent) focusing on political science. I love to snowboard in the winter like a true canadian, eat maple syrup with my pancakes and make poutines at home. I grew up on Johnny Cash, Elvis, Queen remembering my dad playing them on repeat, I am an avid concert go-er ranging from Simon and Garfunkel, Supertramp, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jay-Z to electronic music like Diplo, Flume, and Infected Mushroom.

I love to experience the nightlife in the city, I am an open minded person that loves to enjoy his surroundings. I am a decent cook, terrible painter but can appreciate art and museums.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows me to connect to the city on more personal level, being able to stay with someone native to the location I am visiting. Getting to know the city, the secret/hidden spots that locals go to that are known for its culture, food, drinks or whatever it may be. That human element that would be missing in so many places but with couchsurfing it allows a more personal view of the city.
